The Chamber has negotiated a discounted health rate for group health plans for our members. Business owners will have access to multiple Anthem plan designs that include various deductibles, co-pays, and prescription coverage. Members will also be able to choose from Consumer driven plans such as Health Savings Accounts (HSA) and Health Reimbursement Accounts (HRA).
One of the major goals of the plan will be to create a healthier Chamber. The Benefits Firm will be partnering with small business owners to develop programs that empower their employees to consistently make better choices and take solid steps to improve their health. This will be achieved by utilizing some of the tools that Anthem offers its members such as health risk assessments, worksite wellness programs, and other health initiatives. The establishment of this association plan is a major accomplishment for the St. Matthews Area Chamber of Commerce. It is the first association plan in Louisville in over eight years and only the second of its kind in the last 17 years.
