The Louisville Bats in conjunction with the Bowling Green Hot Rods, and the Lexington Legends, are proud to announce a joint effort “Team Kentucky” campaign to benefit local COVID-19 relief efforts. The three teams have joined for the first time to create a t-shirt which showcases both the unity of the teams and their shared goal of providing assistance to those in need from the Coronavirus pandemic. The shirts proudly display the state of Kentucky and feature each of the three teams’ logos in relative location to where to their home ballpark is located. The words “We are Team Kentucky” surround the silhouette from above and below, stressing that everyone in the commonwealth is banding together in this time of need. Shirts will be available for just $15 online (link above) through the Bats team store. $5 from each shirt ordered through the Bats’ website will benefit the One Louisville: COVID-19 Response Fund. To our law enforcement officers and first responders heroic efforts, National University, a veteran non-profit, is proud to support law enforcement professionals from over 30 agencies nationwide by offering our “our public promise” 25% scholarship degree programs, which includes their dependents too. The J has a lot of virtual content, fitness and cultural programing, available on our website at https://jewishlouisville.org/virtualjcc/. We are creating content for mind and body — the Fitness department is leading daily Facebook Live group classes, our Arts+ Ideas department is finding ways to keep folks inspired, and our Camp, Youth & Families department has some great content for kids and teens. We look forward to the day that we can safely reopen and welcome everyone back! Until then, we want to provide services and programs that are helpful for everyone during this time of social distancing!
